The award for success, not quality, continues then. TTPD is actually a cute little album but Grammy nominated for best album? They're having a laugh.

I'm all for a 5th AOTY for Taylor but she needs to stop getting rewarded for mediocre work

Hopefully she doesn't because i want her to finally ditch Dessner & Antonoff and this is the only way.

Dessner needs to go. He overstayed his welcome. 

It would prove the Grammys place undue emphasis on which album made the most money in the last 12 months (as opposed to which album was the most progressive/ artistic).

 

Taylor deserved the AOTY title for some of her previous albums (and I have no doubt she will again in future), but this is not the album to take home that award this time.

She's most likely going to win again and I'm ok with it.

The people who claim the Grammys don't matter will be the ones exhibiting the most care, ironically proving that they do, in fact, matter (to them.)

 

For the rest of us, Grammys -don't- matter and we will react accordingly whether she wins or loses. Congratulations if she does, oh well if she doesn't. The awards don't dictate quality. Those of us that enjoy the album will continue, those that don't will continue not to, and she will continue to be successful win or lose.

i hope she loses so she'll do better with the next album but that's not how things turned out for MIDnights

BRAT is the only album that deserves to take that award home! I am a HUGE swiffer and even I can acknowledge this

flame bait the haters for giggles and then log off to live life because I don't really care either way but I know some will be very sad and offended and I find that so funny.
