Not disappointing maybe underwhelming, doesn't give first single material but I wouldn't skip it if it came on the radio, it's still good.

Addison had the better high profile release of the day imo

I expected it to be more upbeat 

I'm surprised Cirkut managed to produce something so bland after producing hits like 360 and Apt.  ...like this song doesn't have a hook or anything memorable it's so disappointing

Not sure what some of you expect from her? This sound is the closest we've gotten to BTW, it's different to what's hot right now on radio and such. It's a good song.

They call it karma; little Monsters made fun of Katy.

It's everything I've wanted from her since 2013, so good that I don't even care if it bombs

(or at least I wouldn't if the threat of another decade of boring, radio-friendly AC wasn't looming large when it flops)

More like the opposite. Although I like them, SL and PI weren't the right choices as lead singles from their respective era and I was a little bit worried about it. This exceeded all my expectations. 

Pop music's dead tbh. It had a good run.
