Do you play an instrument?

Featured Replies

Where are the ATRL instrumentalists at?

Played violin and clarinet in my childhood and kinda miss it. Looking to get back into it, especially violin, but don't see why I can't do both. Thank shite I can still read music so hopefully my skills aren't too neglected.

Yes. I played clarinet for 9 years (stopped when I went to college) and am a trained singer. I really wanna start playing again tbh. I got the reeds but my cork is f*cked up so that's next.

Cello. I can still play it but i need a refresher on how to read music. And a couple other instruments but I'm really basic with them.

I did jazz double bass, classical guitar & piano for a long time & studying that repertoire gave me a strong sense of the fundamentals but it's just not my style. Got deep into learning how to use Ableton & I make music more days than not. It's a real tragedy that the tech is v accessible nowadays yet so many fans have never taken a stab at making music. It's worth trying if only just for your own personal enjoyment! Nice to see so many of you have gotten to play an instrument at 1 point or another

I used to play drums but then kinda quit and haven't touched them in 10 years :suburban:

I was in all the school bands back in the 2006 - 2009

I used to play the trumpet (main instrument), French horn, mellophone, clarinet, saxophone and flute.
