I have not listened to either album so I am like the GP in this situation. Smile (the song) is better than any single I've heard from the radical optism (illusion and the other one got old fast), but I heard dua's songs on the radio more

RO did have a much bigger first week tho

I don't know all the numbers, but I feel like 'Radical Optimism' is bigger.

Radical Optimism isn't really that far behind and it's only a few months old vs Smile's 4 years, so I'll have to go with the former

Radical Optimism has already spent 3 times more weeks on BB200 than Smile did. 

Katy had been over for three years by the time Smile came out so for Dua as a streaming act to not even be able to outstream it yet coming off of DSN and Levitating indicates a worse off situation
