i can't with this site :rip:

OT: She was the first to leave the grp and idk, I think she was seen as the girl with most potential as a solo artist? So there was a lot of hype for that

Wait I thought Jades was debuting at #2???

what went wrong?

Only the first look, which doesn't include streaming data, had her at #2. The other midweeks were #5 and #6.

I don't see any of these girls having solo carers. Little Mix reunion is for sure in there future imo.

Jesy was the first to leave and release solo music so it's not a surprise. The other girls music was released and.. nothing.

Jesy had a feature + first to release out of the group + controversy hype

If JADE had physicals i think she would've matched Jesy's peak personally

Not the girlies hyping up JADE for her to fall flat

oh well

She's the last she doesn't have the most hype anymore it's expected because she's definitely more popular than Leigh Anne and Jessy.

Another pathetic thread by the OP

Jesy literally had Nicki on the song, one of the most acclaimed rappers of all time whilst the others released their solo singles without any assistance of any other established artists.

Whats funny is that all LM debut singles out peaked WW on the UK charts so maybe Katy should collab with Jesy if she wants a hit

For a long time Zayn was the only one direction member with a billboard #1

I don't know if she's as bad as she was made out to be. After re-watching this interview her points are fairly logical and grounded.  She was/ is a young woman clearly confused about who she is and her cultural identity. I think it would have been more interesting to watch how that played out in the media if she hadn't been dropped and "Boyz" had been quickly followed up by Polydor (with an accompanying music video that corrected the cultural appropriation of the first). People forget Little Mix generated millions and with her edged out of the picture the money was split three ways (instead of four).

I think Jade's approach might be misguided; releasing music aimed at pandering to the LGBTQ+ community can come off as rather cheap. Instead of sticking with the Xenomia or dated sounds, she should consider something more vibrant like "Espresso," or even draw inspiration from artists like Doja Cat , Flo, Ayra Starr or Tems. The gay community can be quite fickle, and given Jade's age, she's already at a disadvantage as trends shift quickly. For career success and commercial appeal, she needs to collaborate with better producers.

But can this thread be merged with the one @IBeMe made earlier, they kinda predicted this

She had a feature by Nicki Minaj, sampled a popular song, was the first to release while the rest of the girls were still in the group & had all that drama with Nicki, Leigh-Anne and her - so no not surprised. Also remember, just because it debuted higher, doesn't mean it was better.
