Both are bops but Rewind nailed the concept of nostalgia in a much much better way

Rewind is giving me "anxiety" about the present and the future actually.

Exactly and add that with the longing to go back in time, much more depth than 1999

Rewind by miles. I do like 1999 but that was such a label-pleasing song (I usually just listen to the EASYFUN remix, which is very excellent)

Rewind by far. I like 1999 and it's fun, but it honestly doesn't even really fit the flow of the rest of its album very well, and it's about as straightforward pop as Charli ever got between Sucker and the intentionally-more-mainstream Crash, which frankly makes it just not all that interesting. Fantastic as a nostalgia bop, but ultimately less rewarding to listen to.

1999 is cute and fun but i have to go with Rewind. there's a lot more depth and honesty to it which i really like.

Rewind, by a long shot.

1999 is ok but Troye drags the song down. Should've been a solo song. :michael:

1999 is more interesting and catchy

Rewind is basically a toned-down version of it

but I understand the release hype got ATRL under its thumb
