Released as the 6th single of the IASF era, it was originally titled "Beautiful Nightmare"

 

It became the 2nd biggest radio hit of IASF era, peaking at #2 on radio and peaked at #10 in the US and #7 in Europe.

 

It reached #1 in New Zealand (the only #1 IASF single there) and #2 in Australia and went top 10 in 20+ countries.

    Tf were they even on sitting on Sweet Dreams for so long? Like they really let Halo/Diva rock for 5 months before releasing it as a single. AFTER Ego at that. Sweet Dreams deserved better. 

    I remember being really excited the video wasn't all black and white (in 2009) lol.

     

    This for me is the best song on I Am. Infectious beat, sweet harmonies and her voice breathed so much emotion over the song yet you can shake ya Ass! Wet Dreams is Beyoncé at her BEST! 

    She has questionable taste for snubbing one of her career highlights

    Exactly what I typed. 

     

    She never sang the second pre-chorus or second chorus and she always mixed it with Eurythmics Sweet Dreams.
