Barely anything. I always wanted a place to enjoy music with those who have similar tastes but instead it's a bunch of weird proxy fighting between different fanbases. It's getting tiring, scarily incel adjacent and just seems to be overall a very misogynistic website. There are a few lovely smart kind wonderful people on here though. 

When people aren’t being insufferable and annoying they are actually very funny. This forum really is an interactive reality television show and we’re all starring.

The classic forum layout takes me back to a simpler time, and I do love how the discussions are much more specific and focused on pop culture—in comparison to Reddit. It feels like a breath of fresh air posting on here after posting on Reddit. Also, being that it's smaller, there's a better sense of community.

All of this. When people are not fighting the same old stan wars from decades ago, they can actually be hilarious, which is why I've been visiting the Lounge more and more. The threads in there can be hilarious. 

 

Also it's nice just being part of a community of people who share the same interests as you. I also use atrl as a source of music news since I know whenever something happens it's gonna be posted here asap.
