I think she struggles getting budgets for music videos usually. With Neon Lights they had a cement factory on Gotland and a dream 

 

The visualiser for Forever seemed like it took a bit of work so we'll see what they have planned.

We live in an era when you can make great video for relatively affordable budget, it is weird sometimes to see youtube singers having more quality videos than established artists

I think it's a little bit early to talk about a tankery, Is It Love was doing big numbers after Christmas, 3 months after its release. I think that that'll be the case with Forever too. It will be stable, not necessarily a big hit, but it'll continue to pull big numbers. 

 

What we need right now is more playlist support and radio plays. I have seen that Forever is getting a lot radio support in France, UK, Netherlands and Germany. Let's see if these numbers will translate into streams because Is It Love was also getting tons of radio support but didn't chart in many countries...

 

P.S. Why Belgium and Greece aren't supporting Forever? ☠️

I agree. Loreen's latest music videos (Neon Lights, Is It Love) were good but I think something was missing...

I can only talk about Germany but these radio stations in the list you sent are some highly unknown online stations and sadly won't help the song at all

"Is It Love" video was nice, but it was missing any type of dynamic. I dont understand why they didnt use parts of the visualizer video which was beautifully done but again was missing dynamic. They should have been merged and properly cut into the beat of the song.

"Forever" is not single material, it doesnt have memorable melody or hook, it lack progression and is too trance sounding for commercial radio.

It would be great album filler, not a single tho

My biggest irk was the amount of slow motion scenes, at first it was cute, then it became annoying.

I don't understand how she can be signed to a major label for 3 months and then suddenly be independent again. And I don't think this is the first time that happened with her. It suggests she's either impossible to work with from a label exec POV or she is buying herself out of her contracts after a short period of time for some reason.

 

The amount of TV performances and the video she did for Is It Love were promising signs imo, not sure how she is back in this situation now but it explains the zero playlisting for Forever

I think if we were getting the album this year, it would've been announced by now so that the Eurovision hype could've secured some pre-orders…

I absolutely agree, it's not necessary having big budget to make a great video nowadays. Especially when minimalism is what Loreen is ALWAYS good at. It's more about feelings, state of mind, emotions etc. I also don't think Euphoria, I'm In It With You or I Hate The Way I Love You would look better with different concepts and dynamic shooting. This is why Paper Light Revisited is my least favorite MV, it's just too much and she tried to make some ordinary pop-girl video when it wasn't necessary...

Tbh, not even her interval act helped Forever or Tattoo's streams. I think that the hype and momentum are gone.

Unfortunately, Tap is not responsible for radio support. The label is usually responsible for that.

Let's hope that The Voice performance tomorrow will boost Forever's streams 🙏

Forever so far is doing neither great nor bad. Considering the bare minimum playlist and radio support (for now), its stability is positive. Let's hope that today's performance in The Voice will boost the streams in France.

I'm done with her, she should have released an album Friday after Eurovision, she lost all the hype, she will go to tour and no album will be there. Just like Ukrainian GO_A, they and she will focus on touring,killing all the hype for new music and albums, being tour act until there's zero interest in concerts... sad, really sad

I think the promotion so far is good but not ideal. She hasn't done many interviews besides the one in NRJ radio, her interval act in Eurovision did not help Forever at all and the song had zero hype before its release. Sure, the festivals are a good way to promote her music but she has released only two songs one year after her win...

 

I just hope that the next single will come sooner.

Not to mention that Joost, out of all the participants, is already teasing a new song and there are rumours about a new album. 

 

Baby Lasagna also played some of his new songs in a festival last night and apparently he's ready to drop 7 songs (maybe an album?). 

 

Plus, Marcus and Martinus will release an album the same day Angelina will release hers.
