Seeing Island Records' efforts to promote Sabrina Carpenter and Chappel Roan makes me wonder...WHERE WERE THEY WHEN TATTOO WAS LITERALLY ON TOP OF CHARTS!? They could have at least pushed the remix in US, book Loreen for some performances and promote her more in US.

Tbh, I think that for now her team is focusing more in UK/Europe which is logical and clever. Breaking into the US market is going to be very hard considering that the music Loreen makes is not that popular in US and that there are many rising artists there with whom the public is already familiar with. But once the festival tour is over, it would be nice if Loreen could do some US promo before the actual tour.

Loreen finally released the CDs of Forever. It's quite sad that they waited for such a long time.

How so? 

Forever is doing very decent in UK iTunes, it hasn't left the chart for weeks. I think that with a little bit more push it could become a moderate hit in UK, EDM is doing good there and since Loreen's name is already known, it could do bigger numbers. Let's hope that bigger radio stations will play it soon.

In that case, let's hope for a new single in July or August, promotion in September/October (depends on the release) and then announcement for the album.

They managed to ruin Jupiter Drive, and by that I mean the always superior live version... 

Love her to death, but she needs to switch it up. Three songs in ~20 min is mad. The effect is definitely not what she thinks it is.. 

 

Yes, she's got only two albums out, but she's got plenty of other officially released, not to mention unreleased, material that she could push rather than always -- EVERY SINGLE TIME -- serving the exact same. Even a cover here and there would be so refreshing. She excels at reinventing the songs of other artists. What happened since her second win...

She sang them on Pink pop, they just released these songs.

She sings other songs in these festivals, like Statements, Dreams, Body. And usually artists do not change their setlists during festivals. And since Loreen is accompanied by a live band, it would be hard to make many changes. 

this song is in my top 10 favorite songs of this year. I just love this

well it's safe to say my hype for her has died.... and i was OBSESSED with both tattoo and is it love. this one was cute too, but the fact that NOTHING happened after this....

I decided to sell my ticket for her London date next year. She's too lazy.

I saw her yesterday at a festival and to be honest, she was so bad... I was thinking to buy tickets to see her again in Brussels but I certainly won't be doing that now...

Yeah, I don't know what has happened, but she's just… not good anymore. I suspect that maybe she didn't expect to win Eurovision again and have to commit to a load of shows/festivals.

 

Or the label aren't letting her do what she wants to do and she's tired. Shame really, as she had so much potential to do well a year ago.

 

The streams aren't terrible, but considering Tattoo will reach 1B in a couple of years, Forever's current 9M and Is It Love's 74M isn't promising.
