like in mani's case, what role would her manager have with her in relation to RCA? Was he just trash at communicating with the label ? Did he also  have a say in what type of stuff she puts out?

Well considering that screaming tirade that went public last year and the fact he doesn't have many (any?) clients maybe he pissed off the wrong people and Normani was collateral damage

Well like @Friendlyreminder said, the screaming match that was released to the public didn't help his image so who knows what kind of behaviour he was doing behind the screens. 

 

But for one, Lydia doesn't do c0ke like Brandon and clearly knows how to launch an artist as she was Doja Cat's previous manager. 

So it definitely looks like 1 song got dropped less than a week before release as both Ebro and Zach confirm in their interviews that they were given an album with 14 tracks.

 

Sounds like Distance got added right before the interviews and then 1 got dropped right after. Both interviews were the week before the release.
