Both lead singles are from their 3rd albums, they were both expected to be bigger than what they are.

Both kinda underwhelmed be but still big bops. I think I prefer Houdini, also prefer Houdini's video, never liked the Applause one. Applause single cover is a serve though

The only weak spot Applause has is its MV that although it has some nice shots it's cringe overall.

Applause is very distinctive. It was playing in the car in Fortnite, and this reminded me of how amazing the song is. It's a burst of energy. Houdini is good but lacks flavour.

Houdini is bigger and better. Applause is iconic too, though.
