I don't know what's your point here, but I'm going to say the following.   1. The release date (4/11) was given by the user below, who is an insider in another forum which you really know we

  • Dear Dance The Night,   I hope this letter does not find you well.   You are like a musical mosquito. In the summer of 2023, you buzzed endlessly in everyone's ears and refused to

be so ******* for real yall. it's only day 2. a fall was expected

sabrina is not taking dua's place as an MPG especially with say so 2.0

Very bad start but expected after Whoudini's performance. That song killed the era before it even started.

Never expected this to smash but its a Dua Lipa single so literally everything could be possible

I blame all of this on the gays she toured with during FN....they got in her ear and told her to make music that sounds good while on poppers or something :'(

DL3 was supposed to be interesting and have different themes and sounds not this house down boots dance pop with faceless lyrics written by AI :'(

It's always the gays FAULT....ALWAYS

honestly

Spoiler

i accepted that this era is going to underperform no matter what and she most likely won't snatch a smash hit so that's why i'm not even going to check the numbers and just enjoy the music instead cause the quality is there :clap3:

I'm blocking out all the noise from other fandoms and I will be enjoying this album with my besties in here who get Dua's vision. May 3rd can't come sooner

To think that they killed Training Season on US pop radio for this

They should have let it to get a cute top 10 peak at least

Maybe she won't get a smash hit this era, but she'll be more than fine.

it is a shame these songs aren't mega-smashing, because the quality is there. this should've been the firework to houdini/TS's Cali gurls and TD

I wish the numbers were better but it is what it is. Houdini - TS - Illusion is a way stronger run than DSN - FN - Physical sorry not sorry!

speak on ittt

Yeah I've given up on this being a smash era, we can try that again next time.

Focused on the quality bops we're getting instead

This was always going to flop. It's Hallucinate 2.0.

even though you said this from a negative perspective, all three songs do have an ominous element to them sonically as well. For example Houdini basically as a whole, especially the synths, the organ in TS and the bells in Illusion. To me this is the main factor that separates the sound of RO from FN. The songs on that album are very celebratory and cheerful - the songs on this one are not. I love it!!

Truly don't get the FN comparisons

I am so sad for Training Season. It was sacrificed :cries:…it is not fair. Training Season had some of it best updates last week. My favorite song :weeps: RIP Training Season :rip:

TS deserved to go top 10 on Pop Radio :jonnycat:

Agreed - that plus all three so far are in minor keys

I think I've said this before but I truly feel like she needed a slow to midtempo song. Not even a ballad but something slower than her bops. A palette cleanser really.

Houdini is a great song and a discography highlight but I feel like its the type of song she should've released with the album release. She really needed something different to show that shes more than just a disco dance diva then unleash Houdini with the album to show that she's still our dance diva either way.

Houdini lowkey ****** it up and TS and this one following up….her daddy may be hot but wew he's terrible at playing this game

I don't want her to succumb to the mellow light synth-pop trend. That style doesn't fit her, her voice is made for more booming instant gratification, confident songs. Pretty Please and Room for 2 are the exceptions on this.

Had Dua recorded something like we can't be friends by Ariana, I would not have liked it even if it smashed
