Personally I always enjoyed Single Soon, it had been sort of a guilty pleasure but… do you think the GP and Selena stans paid this track dust? Do you think the fact music listeners everywhere have been on the lookout for another Bad Liar/Fetish from her has blinded them from this fun hit?

 

Also, after listening to Love On doesn't this track sound like SOTY in comparison?

It's like… really bad. We don't need to stockholm syndrome ourselves into liking songs 

I've listened to SS couple times when it was just released. It's the type of song that you kinda like on the initial listen but you have no interest to replay it and soon forget about it. Love on is a lil bit better but still on the same level.

It's one of the worst songs I've ever heard, and far below Selena's standards. Doesn't deserve any recognition (especially for that off-key chorus )

yes, and rightfully so 

 

First listen didn't like it and then it grew on me.  Plus, I like it better than "Love On". 

It's a bad song and definitely matches Selena's standards.

Listeners everywhere have always been on the lookout for good music in general and Single Soon is the absolute opposite of that

Both that and love on are some of her worst songs ever tbh
