Agora Hills was released October 3rd, 2023. Its been almost 5 and a half months since her last single.

She will diss her last era and call it a cash grab. Then start a new one.

I can see her finding peace and doing some neo-soul 

Collab with Cardi and feud with Nicki.

Just do a new image revamp for the next era (you know... not bald-headed with Satan visuals) and have the usual few big hits recorded and it'll go fine. 

 

The era was nothing she can't easily comeback from or outdo next time. It had decent single success just the album did mediocre and the image was offputting.

 

'Planet Her' to 'Scarlet' was her equivalent of Rihanna going from 'Good Girl Gone Bad' to 'Rated R'. Notable decline, but not bad enough she can't easily bounce back and just have it be a weak year.

We want a brand new single. Idc if it's for a deluxe or a new album, just give us some good music.

DC5 single would be great but unlikely to be moving on from the scarlet era if she's doing Scarlet tour for the whole summer lol

The problem was not the satanic imagery, it was the dip in quality. The proof is that the actual good songs on the record, PTTR and Agora Hills, are hits. But you can't really do much with the rest of the songs on Scarlet.

 

She can keep the aesthetics, she just needs to come up with a great song (either for the deluxe or for a new album) and it will hit.

I do think the album was weak, however it did mediocre on streaming first day & first week which means out the gate she turned a lot of ppl off and they didn’t even bother checking it out.

I think we’ll get a single off deluxe next.  But I’m honestly over it + ready for her to move on to a new era

I think it’s both.  Satanic imagery didn’t help, but quality was also down.  But most of all… she switched on her fanbase…and delivered something no one asked for (boom bap).   But even that was executed poorly. 
 

Like “Balut” had what it took to be great…but then she didn’t really say anything on it.  Whole second half of Scarlet was kinda like that. Like GOOD, but not GREAT. 
 

“JEEZU” should’ve been on the album…THATS the type of energy I want from her if she gonna do boom bap.  
 

The boom bap thing also boxed her in + people weren’t interested once they heard the direction (esp her Pop fans). 
 

And the devil imagery just gave people who barely liked her even more reason not to like her.   If she wants to be a respected lyricist, it’s prob time to put the trolling down (as step one).  The devil imagery didn’t do anything to help her credibility as an artist.

 

And really her messaging in the visuals was very spiritually conscious…but ppl are not going to look beyond the surface. ESPECIALLY if you not even doing interviews to attempt to explain.  

 

So yeah I think it was both.

A decent album produced only by Dr Luke full on bops like Say So and Kiss me More?? 

Agora Hills aside, since it will prove to be a classic in her discography, Scarlet is over. Its time to move on.
