Yes this is more impressive than the first day streams

Neither are great stats imo, cause the Spotify/AM user bases keep growing. You can't really compare first day streams this year or most streams in a day this year with any data from previous years

Mariah

Miley

Ohh Adele have mercy on the other pop girls

Anti-Hero did that while not having a full day tracking and while competing with a whole new album released at the same time.

How does it look like without the Christmas songs?

Taylor having multiple entries...

Christmas songs...

The hype for Adele was insane

AIWFCIY already at 240K daily

This is true but Mariah has repeatedly broken this record every year since 2017

Quote

According to TMZ, the song was streamed a whopping 23,701,697 times on Sunday (December 24). This number smashes the previous record for the same song, which was streamed 21,273,357 times on the same day the previous year. Before that, the record was held by Adele’s “Easy On Me,” which Spotify users played 19,749,704 on its release date, October 15, 2021.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” previously claimed the record for most daily Spotify streams on Christmas eve in 2017 with 10.8 million plays, in 2018 with 10.82 million, and again in 2019 with a little over 12 million streams.

Adele is just out of this world and doesn’t even have a big fanbase for first week numbers
