- She now has the most nominations in that category ever.

- She barely got to promote the album due to the strike.

She will probably get nominations in that cateogory until she dies

Her vocal performance is always consistent compared to other artists of her generation. So I think she’s going to snatch at least 2-3 noms more for this category 

i mean if she did sumbit the song and they liked then why not?? they did blacklisted a country male who is smashing in every other platform so that's on that.

She’s the best pop vocalist of the century, so it’s deserved  

I just had a look at the nominees from the past few years. 

 

This category must have the most boring and uninspired nominees out of any of them. It's like they have their favorites who get in every year and they're allergic to original picks.

 

Kelly's album does stick out this year, but a lot of her covers have gotten popular recently, so I'm sure a lot of them voted for it without even hearing the album (and it helps that she's known to be a great vocalist)

Yes. The way almost all of her albums have been nominated even when they flop

Pop vocal album is the most bland Grammy category ever and nominating Kelly all the time only makes it worse

Meaning of Life (2017) exists!  And she won a Grammy in 2013.

Not surprised at all cause she's amazing and is the best singer out of this category by miles. She deserves to win it. 

She deserves this. She always nail her vocals and delivery so she always have deserved her nominations in this category

She's an amazing vocalist, shame the music is that mediocre 

She's a vocalist first and foremost, and that's what this nomination is representing for this album, is it not? This album is certainly not one that I have listened to more than once, but her vocals are always impressive and are the cornerstone of her albums so it is good to see her get recognition for that.

I think she benefits from the  name-check thing and she has great placement on the ballot (Clarkson = C).
