The weird thing is his silence, he's always been very communicative, and apologized a thousand times when he had to cancel/postpone other dates, yet he hasn't even posted about this. Plus it was just 7 shows, kind of weird to give up now.

 

I've seen tweets saying some other artist cancelled AUS dates too for reasons that are out of their control but I don't see who they're talking about.

Most hotels offer a refundable option… it always makes sense to book a refundable option when it comes to events like concerts and festivals. Flights on the other hand are usually nonrefundable but that’s where travel/event insurance comes in.

Why book a long tour if you don’t plan on finishing it 

Hate it when artists give these super vague excuses. At least be transparent enough with your own fans to give them a proper reason.
