I feel like some of the artists/teams didn’t even spend more than twenty seconds coming up with the names.

Avatars because Ava Max is the biggest diva of our generation and lowkey invented internet stanning.

One (Jepsies) is an ethnic slur while the other (Raepists) is SA.

Yeah, Carly should hold a press conference about this and formally announce a new fanbase name.

I never heard of Slurpers till now but I'm living for it and couldn't imagine a better name for Cupcakke's fans.

 

I read Daydreamers under Ariana's name and thought that it referred to her fanbase for a second, which I would gladly take over the tragic "Arianators." A collective stanning for one of the best Yours Truly tracks.

Little Monsters seems the more original. 

 

In general i don't like the idea of fandom names. When all started It was just a fun thing between fanbases. Since media adopted them It became boring and kinda of reductive. Reading their articles or tweets seems like only the fans of an artist are interested to something ...

 

For example "Hey Little Monsters, you can now listen lady Gaga new song....you can buy her tickets etc..."

 

I don't feel part of her fanbase but i would watch her last concert tour at the cinemas if happening. As of course more than just her fans are interested about the release of her new music..so i find boring to read "you can bet beyhives can't wait to watch the super Bowl!".

As a swiftie, the fandom name swiftie is very cringe and makes us sound like 12 year old stans.

 

BeyHive is the only one that's actually a clever name.

No bias. BeyHive is the most natural. I do like Navy as well cause it’s not that cringey. She’s not on here, but Megan naming her fans “Hotties” is actually works really well too cause it was already a phrase so you just double the meaning.

And Nop, her team didn’t come up with idea. It was a navy girl on twitter that came up with the name just after Rated R dropped. We started using that until Rihanna noticed it herself . And then her team picked-it up and it became official.
