  • Almost every review I read pans the album for being very repetitive, but I'm not sure if a repetitive flow is enough to get an yellow score these days where a Kylie album gets an 88 and a Olivia album

Completely fair, she relied on controversy to make up for the mid material.

Arbitrary number score aside, the review hits every nail square on the head. The album is boring, too concerned with things that don’t matter and misuses Doja’s talents. She easily could have put toge

I feel like somewhere between 6 and 6.5 is a more appropriate score for it. I think there are people are overhyping it and also a group of people panning it unnecessarily. It's not the greatest rap album, but it is not bad. I don't think it is her best work, though.

Too generous. It’s much worse than that Ed Sheeran album.

This is really low:gaycat7:

From the top of my head the only mainstream female rap albums that have a 8+ are Hood’s Hottest Princess, Fever, IOP, and Miseducation

I wish she’d called up some other chronically online rappers, like Rico or JPEGMAFIA for instance, and set everybody loose.

A harsh Pitchfork review and no one has mentioned the Halsey basement tweet yet? She really lost her fans

Arbitrary number score aside, the review hits every nail square on the head. The album is boring, too concerned with things that don’t matter and misuses Doja’s talents. She easily could have put together a fun, angry, boisterous rap album that could’ve floored everyone but instead she wanted to act unbothered at full album length about anonymous people on the internet.

She set this up album by trashing her previous works. Now everyone is expecting something groundbreaking, only for her to release a mid album.
