Scott Borchetta sold her masters to a man who he knew Taylor hated and he tried to make her sign a new contract with Big Machine Records again, knowing FULL WELL that he was gonna sell the label anyway. He tried to do something truly evil and it's a real chance Taylor didn't sign it, she would've been in a undescribable situation if she did.

 

So yes, Borchetta can absolutely be compared to an abuser.
