Yeah she should/could have done 10 tracks. The album was finish ages ago. They need vinyls and other physical if she wants to chart. The label may not expects big number but her charting is important to them.

Stop being so dramatic . We obviously won’t wait a whole year or even 6 months (unless this smash) . I am pretty confident early next year we will get part two

I don’t really get the point of a release this way? Also would it be two separate albums/EPs or once the second part is out would it just be added to the first like a deluxe?
 

I feel like this has to be a strategy for the label to get a successful song. Hopefully it works. I want her to find the level of success she’s always wanted.

every project is good, you can find bad songs but overall her albums are amazing 

so the "10.1" finally makes sense. "BB/ANG3L" is the 1st part of her 10th full length project.

 

I'm assuming we'll get it it mid-September

I think you misunderstood something. she already stated that there's elements of electronic music on the [whole] project and we have no idea whether the 2nd part is a whole different vibe or what it actually sounds like. she also said (for the millionth time) that she doesn't do one particular genre and takes from various influences and genres

I think the label probably wanted her to release various singles leading to an ep and a LP next year. I think this was the compromise.

Both songs so far have electronic elements. It tinashe she may give us electronic, dance songs. I don’t see her releasing a project in one genre.  

I talked to her on T time yesterday. I specifically asked her if this project is a double project and she said no 💀 but def could be lying to not spoil anything. She also said the album will have darker tones in it like her mixtapes, specifically lyrically. We’re not getting anything else this month besides “Needs”. And she confirmed she’s going to do a solo tour in the new year! Aaaand I got her to spill a song title from the album and it’s “Treason” ☺️

Yesterday's T-time was actually really good since she talked about wanting to channel the pop divas of the 90/2000s and change up her performances.  Hopefully we get visuals for every track since its only 7 songs

Eh this new era is kinda disappointing, right? Maybe it will have longevity, but so far everything has been real bland

As someone who’s a Xtina stan & my fav literally just did this same release stagy it’s dumb & messy. 
 

She was better off releasing one album this year & another next year.
