Nah. Not at all. But you could make the argument for Karma, Bejeweled, Question and Paris.

Generic doesn't necessarily mean bad.

I think it sounds fresh and timeless. I like the chorus but some of the lyrics in the verses and the bridge are weak.

Yes, the midnights album, like Lover and the 'folk' albums are made for mass consumption and are therefore deliberately generic. Lavender Haze and Antihero being the worst offenders.

It doesn't sound generic, it's just a bad song. There are better songs on midnights.

I think all of Taylor's music is generic but I say that in the best way possible. Like she does "generic" music really well, it's why she's so widely appealing. So yes.

It’s arguably the most generic song on that album. It was also a waste of time to make it a single considering it debuted at #2 and it performed horribly as a single. The follow up should have have been Karma. 

Yes it’s generic but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. There’s nothing unique about it but it’s a good pop song
