After a few listens, I'm not sure how this sounds anything like ESV, maybe except for Let's Get Married, which indeed reminds me of Rose Colored Lenses... If anything, it sounds like a continuation of Something Beautiful... Which was kinda a hit or miss for me. And the same happened again with this record. Which leads me to this thought... If we mash the best songs from both albums and make the album of the millenium, then what?

But on a more positive note, kudos to her for singing these lyrics about annoying, old white men holding keys to her future, that kinda gagged me... I don't know how is she even allowed to sing a lyric like that

Ugh... I tried to get into this multiple times, I really did... But the only ones I keep coming back to are Ain't In LA, Red Bottoms and Marijuana, which is basically an interlude. What makes it extra sad for me is the fact that I'm also from Slovakia (Ak je tu ešte niekto zo Slovenska alebo Čiech a chcel by popísať o albume alebo o hudbe všeobecne, budem rád), I wanted to buy the album, support her, but I'm not going to do that just because I'm supposed to. You can make a quality album for the masses and still stay true to yourself. The Provocateur had some edge and autenthicity to it, but - as many said before - songs on this album could be sang by literally anybody. Everything is just so basic for a talent like hers. I'm sorry for saying this, but Anne-Marie's debut had more replay value than this for me

Now not too much on Madison, when "complexity" alone stomps on this whole mess of an album. And actually yes, I can easily see Madison singing some of these songs, just as I can see Adéla sing "yes, baby", for example… Idk what's so weird about that comparison
