This insane Holy Grail of Pop Music deserved far better than to be shelved. It should have been Kim's biggest hit and re-launched Paris' music career.

This song deserved better. It was Whitney giving Deborah her stamp of approval and should’ve shot her to superstardom. She should’ve had a few hits after that for at least a few more years.

The song was climbing up Rhythmic Radio FAST and was about to debut on the BB Hot 100 (in a week or two based on airplay / downloads) when "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" suddenly got a bunch of play on Urban Radio. Coupled with the "spectacle" video in a Vevo-centric charting environment, I wonder if this would've gone Top 5. They should've stuck it out on Rhythmic, let Unthinkable climb on Urban, and then have this crossover to Pop / Hot AC when it was time for Unthinkable to debut on Rhythmic. Missed opportunity for Grammy-bait in the now-defunct "Best Pop Perf by a duo group with vocals" and "pop collab" categories.

 

Also: "Flawless Remix (feat. Nicki Minaj) + Feeling Myself (Feat. Beyonce) - B was at the peak of her self-sabotage era (before "Formation" stepped up and topped everybody), releasing the former to Soundcloud  and the FM video to Tidal. Both were Top 10 singles in waiting if their campaigns weren't cut off at the knees.
