Probably those irrelevant small countries and city states like Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andorra & San Marino. Like be serious

USA.  Florida should be a separate country.

-Siberian Russia (Ural + Siberia + Far East) should be its own country..

-Lesotho being surrounded by South Africa is so weird

-Northeast India should be its own state

-Chile should be divided into 2

-Belgium 

-Yugoslavia should be restored

-Borneo should be its own island country

-Ireland + Northern Island should be its own island country

Austria??? Just merge with Germany so at least you have a not boring ass capital

the one true answer to this is Belgium, even some Belgians would agree. Flanders to the Netherlands, Wallonia to France and Brussels as some kind of 'special European territory' or whatevs

at least the Philippine islands are neatly grouped together and doesn't share any land borders.

Everyone's going to say America, and I can't disagree, but to spice things up, I'm going to say the driving in Costa Rica. 

 

Maybe it's because I was in certain cities (like San Jose and Tamarindo), but pedestrians can flat-out walk in front of you, there's no driving lanes, etc. Yes, they have stop signs and things like that, but if I had to drive in Costa Rica, there's a 99% chance I'd get into a car accident that my car insurance would need to be notified about lol

 

That being said, I loved Costa Rica while I was there.

Because of the way the country is divided. You have two regions with distinct cultures and languages, one being French and the other Dutch. And rarely people are bilingual in French and Dutch. For example, imagine you're a Dutch-speaking Belgian travelling in the French part and you have the need for some kind of service (police, medical stuff, whatever). But nobody speaks Dutch and you don't speak French, so how would it happen? Of course, English would be fine. Also, Belgium is a relatively young country compared to its neighbours like France and the Netherlands, and the story behind its creation is stupid. It used to be part of the Netherlands but other countries like France, the UK and the Russian Empire threatened them with war if they did not grant independence to what is not Belgium.

The island of New Guinea is geographically located in Oceania. It's just the western part falls under Indonesia's sovereignty, that's why it's grouped within Asia category.

 

As in Borneo, the southern part was colonized by the Dutch and the Malaysian/Bruneian part was a British colony. Not sure why Brunei didn't want to join Malaysia though. They don't wanna share oil probably.

Croatia and Bosnia, just merge them with Serbia

Flanders doesn‘t want to be part of the Netherlands, you‘d either create an even smaller country with a french speeaking capital or force them all to speak one language (which was done in the past but then flemish got popular again).

 

Belgium exists for too long to group them with their neighbouring countries just bc they speak the same language.

 

 

also not people saying Malta, they are their own islands that speak their own language+variant of english, what country should they possibly join? the uk?
