Why does everyone on twitter think she’s announcing the second single tomorrow

if it is an upbeat song, kinda hoping that the next single she releases is that one mentioned in the vogue interview about the impossible expectations set on idealized young women. Don’t get me wrong… love vampire but i think gp is looking for something a little different thematically from her and this song seems to be about another completely different core facet of her experience as a young woman in the spotlight. Also the interviewer said it sounded like taylor swift meets kathleen hanna which intrigues me cause i’m a sucker for pop-punk.

Actually feel like the second single might be a ballad for a total change of pace since vampire (for a large part of the song) is still somewhat upbeat. But excited regardless.

The sun is notoriously unreliable when it comes to celeb relationship gossip but tbh i doubt they’d make something up regarding this, given that release of the song in some parts of the world is legit in 12 hours. it would be VERY easy to be disproven (as oppose to celeb gossip which is always somewhat up in the air).

Girl has been given so much grief for writing her first album of mostly breakup songs, and she expressed so many times during sour era interviews that she didn’t want to be pigeonholed as the sad breakup artist. Guess we’ll just wait and see
