She likes brutal even though none of her fans or the GP do.... I don't think the song is going to be overly grungy, just the transition from slow to uptempo

I'm joking of course. Some artist use the same clichéd chord progressions (and similar instrumentals) dozens of times and no one questions their originality, but people hear a snippet from Olivia and she immediately gets accused of being unoriginal.

A lot of her fans love Brutal and wish she did more rock. 
 

I don’t think Vampire is going to go that far, but I definitely see her going more in that direction on this album and in the future.
 

She rock’d up Jealousy Jealousy for her documentary. She performed Just a Girl and Seether (Veruca Salt) on tour, and they suited her so well.
