LOL imagine using these while driving or on the train or airplane 

Did you guys watch the video? It isn't discussing this replacing it now, but having the capabilities of replacing it over time, as it gets refined, the battery life is improved, and the device itself becomes a more accessible form (like a pair of glasses). It's focusing on the possibilities that this kind of technology introduces.

I really don't like VR headsets, they hurt my eyes and it just feels disorienting. Knowing how tech evolves we'll probably sound like major boomers in 15 years for not wanting to wear them but honestly I just don't see it yet. The iPhone isn't physically worn on you and is thus way more convenient and handy.

The only people who will hype this up are tech content creators who are getting that Apple bag, the ad revenue, and people who are genuinely into tech/productivity but... for the rest? Nah. Its sad we've even reached this point. The only GOOD I can see this being used for is disabled people, but thats about it.

It’s definitely going to replace your television and MacBook first before your phone.
