Of course she's needed. As long as an artist has a core fanbase then there is always the demand for new music. I don't care for Lorde's music as its not my personal taste but I'm pretty sure her fans will always support whatever she offers musically. She's only 26 years old. She young and has many more years to thrive. 

Seeing how sold out her tour was, 4 dates in London, i’d say people embraced Solar Power for what it was and will give Lorde another chance

Yes, Solar Power was not at the level of Melodrama, which doesn't mean it's a bad album.

 

I saw her last year at a festival, even though it was raining her show was excellent.  I need her to come back soon.

Btw, OP made this thread because recently he made an ARTPOP thread saying it was the last big female record, and replies ratio'd him saying Lorde was the reason Gaga was ended at that time - since Lorde changed pop music's directory to a more alternative sound with Pure Heroine. So he's probably fuming now.
