I'm not sure what we're defining as "smashing" nowadays so I'll put that to the side for now.

 

The ongoing discourse surrounding this song on its own as well as its music video I find exhausting.

 

Because it's not wrapped in cartoonish or kink packaging like Lil Nas X and Sam Smith it's opened the floodgates for commentary inside and outside the community that keeps rehashing old tropes. Maybe that's a good thing and a sign of progress.

 

Gay men use poppers - stop encouraging it? Good luck. Um....he'd get criticized for including different body types as being forced too. And on and on. I'm just tired.

'Smashing' is a wrong word .it had a good debut but it's falling right now..

obsessed with it. the Janet and Christina influences, the azealia banks gif,... this is serving everything already.

They just added troye at #35 on today's top hits today. 

 

there's no use comparing it to his old singles, it's not the same thing. This time it reached #23 in its release week. So now they're taking action, they're not used to instant success. 🤷🏻‍♂️

#34 for me, c'mon troye  i'm so happy for him and kylie smashing with such gay-ish songs, they really said we're delivering classics this summer
