In his live, he said the cover reflects the fact that he's been doing this for 17 years and is still here. The statue is like a monument to that journey, weathered, chipped away, and marked by everything it's been through, but still standing strong. Time and the environment have taken their toll on the surface, but instead of weakening it, it's become a kind of armor.

I feel like the type looks good to graphic designers who are constantly thinking about typography and know the rules and are comfortable with breaking them, but to the common person it looks bad.
