it's basically about a person who had really bad early childhood to the point that they ended up having no emotions/feelings by creating this ice cold wall to block everything since then. that's why Jack frost really ain’t got **** on them  

and they are displaying all of this with dry could vocals throughout the song as well, oh wow

Considering this is DIY, props. I’d say one thing that could elevate the track is more dynamics. Our perception of loudness is all relative so having some of your synths duck via side-chaining will give the song a greater sense of propulsion & movement. Anything that’s sustaining throughout most of the track should be comp’d in order to boost the vol of sounds that appear more infrequently IMO. You don’t need to do anything additive, just subtractive & that’ll give it more life. I look forward to your next track!
