In a world of "Venice *****", "West Coast" and "Ride", it's hard to believe there would be even better songs in the near future. However, Lana Del Rey constantly pushes herself to reach higher potentials, either in songwriting, visuals (we wish) or production. This year, she delivered "A&W", a jaw-dropping statement on society's views on women and sexuality. Starting as a psychedelic folk ballad, the singer explores themes such as childhood, casual sex, sexual assault and fame; halfway through, guitars and piano are interrupted by a horror trap, freaky cheerleader beat. Her voice distorted yet upfront, she chants about "Jimmy" who "only loves [her] when he wants to get high." For me, it is the ultimate Lana Del Rey song, the one that gave resolution and complete sense to the Lanaverse.

Greatest creation I don’t know and I stopped keeping track because she is an artist who is constantly outdoing herself and introducing new ideas to her audience. 
 

That said I think it’s a phenomenal track that offers something fresh and exciting. Definitely one of her best and most innovative.  

It's a great track, but White Dress and Blue Banisters (the song, not the album) absolutely floor me every time I hear them.

Its my 2nd fave Lana song after VB.

Venice ***** & Kintsugi are her best songs. But A&W is up there.

 

Also, unpopular opinion but Cruel World deserves to be in the OP over Ride.

I would say Lana has multiple career highs that are so different that you cannot even compare them, my personal most played song by her is West Coast but she has many songs that are just as good or even better

No. Summertime Sadness (Remix) is.

No, but it's one of her masterpieces. Crazy to think that she actually has a few of them by now. 

Ride will forever be her ultimate magnum opus, the quintessential Lana song for me. But yeah she has many masterpieces and A&W is definitely one of them.

Nah, Kintsugi is the best from the last album. So AW isn't even her greatest song from her latest album.

One of many, but I think it's in her Top 5 for me simply because I haven't been surprised by a song of hers like that.

I didn’t like it first few listens, but after I read the lyrics, listened to the Dolby Atmos tracks, and looked into the lyrics I understood why it’s one of her best songs…

 

There are just so many layers to it that I didn’t get in the first few listens. Lana is one of those artists where you either get it, or you don’t.
