in my opinion, Demi's last two albums have served great concepts and visuals. The single covers of her latest album are such a slay.

Stupid Love could have been decent if it was filmed properly but it’s one of my least favorite videos of her because it just feels low budget.  (I also don’t love the song, I think it was a mistake to make it the lead)

ME! is a great video but dampened by the awful song it’s attached to

Lover is one of her best videos but rarely gets any love and some people hate it, for whatever reason

Cardigan + Willow are two of her best as well but people complain about them because they’re self-directed, when they wouldn’t if it had zero changes besides another director’s name slapped on it  

Same applies to Midnights’ videos, although they are a bit messier for some reason than the Folkmore videos, like in terms of editing and a few cheap-ish sets. But still love Anti Hero and Bejeweled

 

Saddest example is the I Bet You Think About Me MV - it’s one of her best ever imo but no one talks about it because it’s for an irrelevant (sadly) vault track…

Xtina’s Bionic. From the concept, album package. All are amazing. She really had high hopes for the album to invest a lot into the visuals. I wish she had embarked on the tour as planned, it’d have been a very visually beautiful tour. I mean look at her MTV bionic medly performance. Also she looked like a goddess in YLM video.

Me! is visually pleasing. It was her last mv that had lot of hypes (Youtube died after that for everyone though). But I love willow video a lot. The song and mv should be nominated for a Grammy at least. Don’t mean to bash anyone, but willow MV deserved the nom more than most of the actual nominations that year.
