You're actually giving him more money doing this :rip:

Diddy gets no money for royalties for this song. He has to give 100% of the royalties to sting cause he stole the sample

Insane :rip: Good for Miss Sting but it just makes me sad to think how so many people are struggling day by day and people get this amount of wealth for making 1 part of a song.

What made him think he could even sample this song without getting permission? It was a huge hit…

Same. It's just ridiculous amount of money. I get it, art is often very expensive but not this...

Maybe that money could be donated to a cause that combats the type of violence that killed the friend the song is for.

Why would sting donate money for diddy friend honor. Diddy gets no say what happens to the money of this song cause he tried to steal the song. He makes ZERO dollars for the song and the reason he has to pay sting is cause he stole the song without credit

To be fair, Sting took the credit for the part he didn't even create on his own song, nasty behaviour tbh, wouldn't even share it with the guy. Pure greed.

Only part sting didn’t create was the guitar riff. The rest all him was him.  Even the guitarist admits that sting wrote the entire song minus the guitar riff.  Diddy stole the every part  of the song changed a few words here and there. He didn’t even write his own rap
