The more I see forums like this, the more I'm the problem, because I entertain/comment on content like this. I know ATRL isn't a website to be taken seriously, but when will people from our community-- particularly gay males-- understand that people can top, people can bottom, or people can do both. I understand if you're looking for just a hookup that you might be solely looking for penetrative sex or to get penetrated, but other forms of sex exist as well and toys are a thing. These forums kind of read like Grindr-confessions-of-an-18-year-old. If I solely looked for partners who preferred a sexual position in my bed, I've live a pretty lonely, sad existence. 

 

But to be on topic, yes, everyone should have friends. We weren't made to be stripped of social interaction and friendships build things like character, loyalty, trust, and friendships are a great way to co-exist and set/honor boundaries.
