Want to pull the receipts for the gross of House of Gucci compared to Netflix films The Power of the Dog and Passing or traditional releases Respect and Spencer or Spanish language movie Parallel Mothers?

Because I can tell you it made more at the Box Office than all those movies did combined, had the biggest opening for an adult drama during the pandemic (biggest since 2019’s Little Women adaptation) and over 40% of ticket buyers as surveyed by Fandago went for Gaga, earning herself one of the biggest cuts for a Hollywood actress for the upcoming Joker movie only behind Margot Robbie for Barbie :coffee2:

The only attention-seeking here is the cyclical trolling you do dear :gaycat5:

People always kii about it but I honestly just think she didn't get her point across. The aim of the actor, especially for realism and most film acting, is to understand how a character thinks. That would include any altered states. Obviously she doesn't actually feel like she's getting drunk off of prop drinks. She's just existing within the circumstances of the scene. Her technical serve :smitten:

Tbh it’s like people have never heard of the placebo effect :rip: you could offer someone alcohol with nothing actually in it, but that person could very easily start behaving more drunk than they did before. And if you are acting and actually trying to convincingly act as if you are drinking then well…especially if it’s take after take.

It’s exactly how actors have said they need to calm down after an emotional scene; faking things can sometimes lead you to actually feeling those feelings in some capacity. But people were trying to act as if Gaga was bonkers.

The 100 in the room, the letter written to herself saying she doesn't need herself anymore, the getting drunk from prop drinks...
