Sweetener felt bigger because she had a more active presence (e.g., traditional promo like performances, interviews, more active on social media) but I think Positions might technically have better stats (singles peaked higher, more weeks at #1 on BB200, more weeks charting on BB200 than SWT).

Positions is bigger and it's a fact, Sweetener felt bigger because there was a roll-out and the promo was great.

Idk about the actual stats but Sweetener felt a lot bigger tbh. What an era

positions is a massive slum for Ariana. I feel like she will bounce back with the next era though.

Positions has great numbers and better stats than albums like My Everything, Dangerous Woman and Sweetener. The total numbers of course weren't as big because it had only 2 singles and the others got 4 or 5, but that's common sense. 

Sweetener. It changed the trajectory of her career, but 'Positions' was a critical and arguably, commercial slump from the golden years of her career during the late 2010s. I do think she will bounce back with her next record because of her hiatus, and anticipation for her next era. She was very oversaturated by the time that album came out.

Although sweetener was more important/significant in her career. I feel like she gained a lot more respect amongst critics with it.

People answering “factually it’s Positions” based solely on numbers when OP could’ve answered that himself with a Google search  Obviously not what they were asking. 

 

I’ll say Sweetener, it was much bigger culturally and did much more for her career than Positions. 

Idk which was bigger but Sweetener is at least more listenable. Both are stains on an otherwise flawless discography tho

Stats wise Positions is bigger but yeah Splenda felt bigger due to its rollout and that she actually promoted the album/singles.

Sweetener felt like more of an event and I think is more recognisable for her. I think it marked a shift in her career and will be looked back upon as one of her most significant and pivotal albums. However, Positions performed better on streaming and has a better run on the Billboard 200 despite the lack of promo, which Sweetener received (another reason it felt bigger). positions (single) did better than no tears but no tears feels like more of a memorable hit for her.

 

 Basically, Positions is statistically bigger but Sweetener is bigger in most other senses.
