Is it still good? I'm on season 3 and so into it with each new cast! No way he could get away with the iconic hellsbitches and fat shaming now

Not really, I mean, I still watch it and enjoy it, but last season was... kinda boring ngl. Ugh, but keep watching, there are some characters on next seasons that you MUST watch on that show.

He's one of the most famous people on the planet  the way he appeals to almost every demographic

yes iconic name, more global than guy fieri for sure

yes he’s basically more famous than Jesus

Yes, but he's a pig. You can be strict and demanding without being borderline abusive.

Yes, in the Food world, I would very much consider him an MFG (main food girl)

Ramsay, Cake Boss, Nigella and Barefoot Contessa.

He's a legend

He's a second rate imitation.

if youve actually been to his restaurants theyre pretty mid. hes a tv personality at best i fear

No

Yes. Everyone knows him

You can! and that's why he isn't. It's well known that the version of him we see on TV is a character. People who've been on his shows have gone on record to say he doesn't actually behave that way off camera, and his employees have noted that he doesn't actually behave this way in his restaurants either. The people who sign up to be on the show are told in advance what it is they're getting into, and they are treated very personably by him when they're not shooting.
