Label plant, his music was super generic and he had like, two hits that were basic and not all that memorable in the grand scheme of things.

I literally just finished listening to Infinite Dream seconds ago   It deserved so much better 

He was kinda generic, and pretty meh which is worse than bad or good. With bad at least it is memorable, meh is forgettable and Bazzi music was just that. 

Was he ever remembered to begin with? 

He is making extremely generic fast-food like 2 minute music. It has done what it was supposed to do - got big for a moment and then was left to be forgotten.

Yeah he just never really was able to stand out. His popularity was mostly based on aesthetics and I imagine most of his fans got bored of him or grew up. It's not like he was ever that big anyway.
