Featured Replies

The US just had their lowest temperature ever as the windchill in New Hampshire hit -76°C/-105°F. :biblio:

Idk what else to write other than cold asf! Do you prefer cool temps, or are you a hot summer gal yourself? :-*

I much prefer cold temperatures, but here even in New Jersey it was awful walking about because of the wind chill :rip: It felt way colder than 20 degrees

Lowest ever? The ice age says hi

Who was recording temperatures back in the ice age? :rip:

oy vey zmir :rip: it was 10ºF (-12.2ºC) in Denver earlier this week but today it was niiiiiice and warm

Does a windchill temp count as a legit temperature on the record books? I'd be kinda surprised since high winds can kick down the temperature down a good bit but only for a few seconds on a gust.

So no because the air temperature was -44F when the record low air temp in US is -70F in the lower 48s.

Because it was recorded in the United States by the United States government which uses Fahrenheit. LMAO.
