Her last album has five songs with 400M+ streams while currently she's getting outstreamed by Zara Larsson. What went wrong?

The music she releases is what went wrong. I like it but people probably find it faceless, not caring about who sings it

Her music is generic dated trash in 2023. She is showing no artistry or talent and is a socialite at this point. It is a shame because she had everything to be a star.

Anyways, she has no niche. She’s the faceless radio fodder ATRL likes to pretend Dua is. Also, she makes terrible music outside a few songs.

She's about to be an Actress next , she's doing fine

People saying about terrible music are just trying to shade her for whatever reason. There's plenty of songs that lack "quality" and are big hits.

 

Rita's issue will always be the big gaps between releases and this is widely known. She has a 10+ year career that only spawned two albums and one EP. This doesn't allow a smaller act like her have streaming power and longetivity or even have a fanbase that will heavily support the few songs she releases when she releases. She's back at the same point she was when she started the Phoenix rollout. Once radio gets on board (if they do), streaming will pick the song up and the rest will follow. Or if she gets lucky and have a TikTok viral hit with one of the new songs from her upcoming record.

Ever since Dua Lipa became a global star, Rita got uninspired and insecure. Both are of Albanian ethnicity, so there was this rivalry. Rita was never really big outside of the UK, but people in Albania and Kosovo were CRAZY for her, she was beloved and this biggest star back in her home country. Then Dua shows up out of the blue and becomes 100 times bigger than Rita. Suddenly it’s all about Dua, and people in Albania/Kosovo no longer care about Rita. I think this especially must hurt a lot for Rita.

She needs to throw away her Rihanna, Gwen, Gaga, Madonna and Dua mood boards, stop collecting those stale demos and GET an identity.

 

She is one of the most faceless artists out there. Someone who can somewhat sing, but nobody really knows her as an artist. Who she is. What she stands for (other than flouting Covid restrictions of course).

 

You can hear her music on the radio but it will totally pass you by, never knowing it was her.

Wasn't she quite serious at the beginning of her career but then had trouble/disagreements with her first label, which made her slow down? Then she came back with more generic music probably to find some success and now she's over it...
