No they are not. And I doubt it‘s a sign of a new era since a lot of big early 2000s artists (including Chris Brown, Ciara, DC and Xtina) received a few certifications yesterday; Britney and Chris Brown had the biggest updates.

I‘d hope so. It should be eligible for Gold (200k) later this year. However, not so sure about it getting a certification so soon since Cold Heart still hasn‘t gotten any and it was massive

Hoping to see Hold Me Closer up here soon, can't believe Elton's label didn't even bother certifying Cold Heart. Also, I wonder why Sometimes didn't get an update. Pretty sure it should be Gold based on physical sales alone.

I do.

They did it with Pink, Justin and others with their new era.

Britney never said she'd stop making music...she said she'd no longer work with Jamie in control.

Elton likely convinced her to keep making music and i'm sure the book is coming later this or next year with an EP/LP.

Shakira's certifications were also updated. She gained more than 1mil and is now over 7mil in total.

 

Waka Waka was updated from 5xGold 750.000 to 4xPlatinum 1.2mil and Hips Don't Lie from 1xPlatinum 300.000 to 3xPlatinum 900.000. So she's over Britney.
