A long time has passed but does queen Shania have a chance at making a mainstream comeback and restoring her lost legacy?

 

 

Her legacy doesn't need restoring. She's a legend and always will be. Will she have huge chart hits again? Probably not, but she doesn't need them.

She doesn't ever need a comeback again, but if you're asking if she'll chart high again with that new song, then the answer is no.

 

And that's coming from a huge Shania fan.

She doesn't need to come back from anything. She's a legend with the biggest female album of all time.

 

I don't see her having a hit with the new material as its somewhat dated sounding. I could see one of her classics getting a Tiktok moment though, especially MIFLAW or TDIMM.

I mean I don't expect her songs to chart high but her legacy will always remain in tact and she will forever be an icon.

If by a comercial comeback her last chance was on the early 00s. But then again with the TikTok era who knows

I remember Man (I Feel Like A Woman) having a cute TikTok moment after she joined Harry onstage at Coachella but other than that...no. And that's totally fine it's not like she has anything to prove anymore.

As far as a hit single no but her album will sell well for the first week among her fanbase like Now did. She can still tour and sell out arenas. She doesn't need any more hits she's already a icon.

Yes I agree I should have worded it differently. I more meant in terms of it translating to mainstream success in the 2020’s. I feel her career was cut short unfairly and I can imagine she has so much more to give as an artist especially with female legends breaking boundaries in their 50’s, 60’s and beyond now.
