I think girlgroups in general esp Aespa and RV can't afford another flop era, it would damage their reputation and career trajectory in general. So each cb needs to be planned carefully. While nobody would bat an eye if NCT flops or tops

So my guess is this album is might flex their dual concept and show both Red and Velvet sides distinctly. 

 

Makes sense to me since the 1st album = Red. 2nd = Velvet. So 3rd = Red Velvet. Plus their concert concept R to V might have been teasing this too.
