in NewJeans case it’s all speculations and made up theories which can be really damaging for the girls - as we know ETA has multiple meanings, the names are random (and apparently not even connected with the Spanish terrorism group directly like the weirdos on the internet stated) and we only got a clip of the car riding in the dark  it’s a huge stretch just to find something on NJ and MHJ

Also stop being delusional challenge for some of y'all. ETA has always been Estimated Time of Arrival. I shop online and it's a common shipping abbreviation and I'm sure MILLIONS of people as well so yeah...

So I mean idk why you needed to bring Chaeyoung up at all since her scandal blew the **** up and as you said was more overt. And then say it got brushed over by kpop stans when that wasn’t really the case

Wish the final chorus of Hard went further, a bit longer. Also sad to see Onew sit out of this a LOT, but I really love this comeback so far.

also, onew not being on some scenes (a lot of group scenes)  I think they could've just moved this comeback on a later date if he's really not well right now tbh since they rarely comeback these days but oh well

OT: HARD is great but the bsides are where it’s at… Like It has one of the best choruses I’ve ever heard in kpop

I don’t know how to process this new GODNee Song it sounds awful in parts but great in others🤯 Like a NCT song 😆 

The instrumental is amazing, and Minho kinda sounds like Yunho rapping. But it works for this beat. I just think the structure of the song is off and parts feel empty. I actually think the MV is dope and better than DCM.

it’s just the situation I clearly remember and top of that it was a REAL existing issue and although there was an outrage, majority of the people went in her defense (including me) and agreed that it was ignorance, she needs to acknowledge it and everyone will move on (which happenned pretty soon after that) - she’s not even remotely canceled after all, right? didn’t need to go on any hiatus or anything, one simple statement was enough which is kinda wild 

 

whereas in NewJeans case the problem is MADE UP by the antis and „concerned” people, yet the community moved on to spread it and blew it up out of proportion and it may be very damaging - now people are demanding statement from Ador, but you know what? they won’t take it anyway, just like they laughed out previous ones - and it’s all for the drama stir up by the antis, that they cannot even prove in any way

It honestly makes sense that they are releasing another Japanese album/EP since they are about to tour there again. It’s also their biggest market

Juice sounds more like a title track

 

The album is probably their most cohesive. Definitely has that 90’s New Jack Swing and R&B sonics. Like 10X & Satellite are serving 1992 black excellence. 
 

Identity was Made for Onew. He needs to sing on more dance songs like thisThe Feeling sounds better in the album! A perfect pre-release single, that gives you a nostalgia Summer vibe. 
 

Like it is definitely the most dance song on the album. It’s so infectious. I don’t know how anyone won’t start twerking on walls to this🤭

 

Sweet Misery sounds like a 2nd Gen song. And is probably why it’s one of my faves. Every section of the song flows perfectly in a familiarity. It’s just a great song that I can tell will have a lot of replay value.

 

Insomina 🤣 That Intro rap sounded like a tablo song. But once the verses and chorus start it sounds like 2010 SHINee b-sides💁‍♀️ The Kings of Contemporary R&B Justin Timberlake could never. 
 

Gravity ends the album and it’s a typical Mid tempo ballad closer. All the boys deliver vocally. It started out meh, but I started vibing during the chorus parts. 
 

overall my only problem with the album is Hard shouldn’t have been the title. But I understand why, Kpop fans need thier flashy upbeat title track MV’s. But I honestly think they should have made Juice thier High Budget dance MV. And made a Stylized video for Like it. Especially since Juice’s hook is literally “I Think You Like Me”. 🤦‍♀️ Damn SM use to be good at picking titles and making concepts. Still SHINee served best BG music as usual. As far as the visuals, it’s tragic. NCT really was the worse Creative creation of SM😭
