Yeah now that you mention it, it kinda makes sense for HYBE to wait to announce Garam’s removal on the same as NJ’s debut instead, which means that there is still indeed some form of connection and damage control between Garam and NewJeans

Nope. IVE held the record and before them, it was TWICE. The only way we’ll see someone surpass this is if they’re a reality group with a large Chinese following pre-debut.
