His individual name is pretty big in Korea and he has several deals, so i believe he’s using that money responsibly for his own music and company, along with the funding coming from sponsorships Im sure

I saw after lol...but still, could be a behind/vlog for something solo related you never know.

 

The fact that she even has original solo songs in the vault and now filming solo content is a good sign, considering SM has still kept her with zero individual activities/promotion up until recently.

 

Wendy's solo is coming first probably...weirdly we've heard nothing about it yet though, not even studio pics.

The story (so far) is the CEO had a girl group knocking around the offices for years, and he was just not feeling it (probably scarred from Hotshot never breaking through) so he asked for some help from a friend/producer who made most of his bank back in the 1st generation of kpop -- not so much in music but on the business side.  He comes in, gives some advice (get rid of all the girls except Keena and find some singers), becomes an investor, and looks like the lottery ticket cashed.

Eh, if was funny to think he lost everything because of a girl group, but it seems like he actually sold everything because he got duped by some investment scam, and he wasn't the only one.  Bunch of old ladies got taken, too.  It was in the news.

Look, like a decade ago, *every year* there were dozens (and dozens?) of entertainment companies who thought they could find their fortune by creating a girl group.  Now, that has been reduced to just a handful of start up companies annually who decide a girl group is the best way to set their money on fire.  Some of them do line up with a Sony or a UMG or a Warner, although most of them fall in line with CJ, Kakao(Loen) and even SM/JYP/YG who also enjoy playing the lottery.

 

And once in a while, one of these things would become popular.  If these girl groups are not expensive hobbies or way to embezzle profits made in other sectors, they're just lottery tickets.  And once in a while, one of these lottery tickets come though.  Or they don't.  But the experience is priceless!

 

The difference this time is that tiktok is a very dangerous social media platform that needs to be shutdown.mp3
