aes(the avatars in the kwangya/SMCU universe) are digital beings created of somebody's online activity that manifest through sinkholes in reality. Each one is tied to a real person.

 

naevis and black mamba are both digital beings that inhabit the same reality as ae(FLAT, with Black Mamba also existing in/possibly coming from KWANGYA), but exist independently of real people.

 

The entire plot of their debut to now was Black mamba was interfering with the connection between aes and real people(SYNK) and naevis sacrificed her memories so that aespa could stop black mamba once and for all. Naevis will presumably enter the real world with welcome to my world(a process called REKALL) since it was heavily teased in Girls' lyrics and in the SMCU episode it coincided with. 

 

In general the lore is heavily contradictory and full of rewrites as SM decides the direction they want it to take but the broad strokes(ae, other digital beings, flat/kwangya) stay the same with each comeback. It makes more sense for naevis to debut because it's implied aespa and their ae are very similar so solo debuts for them would be redundant, whereas naevis can more believably release some weaboo uncle fan pandering trite with a photocard included to climb the charts(people would expect more serious music from the aes because they're supposed to be like their real world counterparts who all have EXCELLENT solos ).

 

naevis is more like a mentor/savior than a member.

Yeah I think she knows how to have a good work life balance tbh. And going to a smaller company made that possible for her. She obviously is not smashing anymore with her music like she did before, but she has other ways and deals to earn money so she just does the once a year comeback to tide over her fanbase and goes on tour.

I also thought the dates were so weird. As I mentioned to Dialamba, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan deserved dates. 

 

I understand the few dates on Europe, cause It's their first time and JYP doesn't take risks unless they are sure the arenas will be filled. But the lack of SEA doesn't make sense to me. 

 

I hope you are right about LATAM, cause TWICE is one of the very, very few groups I'd pay to see live, even though I don't stan.
